Like a lot of people, I was tired of products that just sat on top of my skin instead of actually soaking in. I’d slather on lotion, step out the door, and feel dry again an hour later. My beard looked decent but felt rough and itchy underneath. The ingredient lists read like a lab experiment full of stuff I couldn’t pronounce and definitely didn’t want absorbing into my body.

I take pride in how I look and how I feel. As a man who’s always been particular about his grooming (and as someone who wears multiple hats — creative, entrepreneur, and yes, a guy who just wants his skin and beard to thrive), I got tired of settling. Women have had quality, natural options for decades. Why should we? So I took matters into my own hands.

In May 2023, I founded KXNG Cosmetics as a minority-owned brand with one clear mission: create premium, all-natural beard and body butters that actually work. We use raw, unrefined plant-based butters, organic essential oils, and time-honored ingredients that nourish deeply — without the harsh chemicals, parabens, or fillers. These formulas are designed for men’s skin and hair: thicker, sometimes oilier, and often underserved in the grooming world.
